The company\u2019s second major capacity investment in 18 months modernises production across its facilities in the United States, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, and scales its Seattle Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence to serve crewed deep-space and national security space programmes.<\/h3>\n

High Wycombe, UK \u2014 1 September 2026 \u2014 <\/strong>Quickparts today announced its second major capacity investment in 18 months, bringing its total commitment to its Seattle Aerospace & Defense Center of Excellence to nearly $6 million and adding 12 Stratasys NEO\u00ae systems across its operations in the United States, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom. The deployment modernises the company\u2019s production fleet across all four sites, the latest in a series of milestones over the past year that included the November 2025 Seattle expansion and the February 2026 launch of its DuraKor\u2122 and ThermaKor\u2122 high-performance materials.<\/p>\n

The capital is aimed at America\u2019s highest-stakes production programmes: the national security space architecture now being built at record pace, and defence programmes where a supplier\u2019s ability to deliver on schedule is treated as a strategic asset in its own right. These programmes rarely select a manufacturing partner on price alone. As space and defence budgets scale, the manufacturing base underneath them has to scale faster, and Quickparts is investing accordingly.<\/p>\n

Powering the Next Generation of Space and Defence Programmes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Quickparts runs production through both its own in-house facilities and a certified network of manufacturing partners across North America, Europe, and Asia. The model is designed to allow the company to scale quickly, strategically source work, and compete on cost and speed for the majority of what it builds.<\/p>\n

Space, defence, and national security programmes are where the company recognised that calculation change. The new systems increase Quickparts\u2019 large-format throughput by 40 per cent and retire earlier-generation machines, standardising production across the US and Europe. A part qualified in Seattle can be built to an identical standard in France, Italy, or the UK, giving customers a hedge against tariffs, export control shifts, and regional disruption, without requalifying a new supplier each time conditions change. It reflects a consistent strategy: as space and defence budgets scale, the manufacturing base underneath them must scale faster, not alongside and not after.<\/p>\n

Specialty and Performance Programmes in Europe<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The same production discipline also serves specialty and performance programmes in Europe, including motorsport aerodynamics and high-end vehicles, where a fixed calendar leaves no room for a missed date. These remain a core part of Quickparts\u2019 business, even as space and national security programmes now anchor the investment priorities.<\/p>\n
